Based on the photo, here is the location; https://goo.gl/maps/Q15T1
3455 Underground Dr. West Plains, MO. It is located just north of town on HWY 63. There is nothing present to indicate a drive in once existed there.
jwmovies, curious where you are getting some of these addresses? Most of the time the addresses in the header match up with the display ads or from the drive-in website. Why give a approximate address when the address of the drive-In is already in the header?
3455 Underground Dr. West Plains, MO is spot-on at least for Google. A 1977 aerial photo shows the drive-in at that location. You can see the track NW of the drive-in in that photo.
AGAIN CHRIS FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME: Historical Aerials and Google Maps can be your friends too! A little research goes a long way…FYI satisfaction brought this cat back! Now back to our regularly scheduled program already in progress 😁🤣
The 63 Drive-In opened its gates on May 27, 1952 with Robert Cummings in “The First Time” along with an unnamed cartoon and a Grantland Rice Sportlight (both unlisted on grand opening ad).
Drive-in was still intact in 1984, but completely demolished by 1995.
Today, there are parch marks of the ramps and the general outline remains, but that’s about it.
