Opened with 5-screens on August 27, 1976. The Times News reported on August 9, 2013, the opening of the newly renovated Frank Theatres at Kingsport Town Center. Marquee Cinemas, who vacated the premises in February of 2013, occupied the site for 10 years.
Frank Theatres chose to open only 10 of the original 11 screens and use the space for a future expansion. Planned is a 400-seat IMAX auditorium and a CineBowl & Grill, designed by ADW Architects.
In July 2017 it was taken over by NCG Cinemas.

This opened with 5 screens by AMC Theatres on August 27th, 1976. Grand opening ad posted. Would need local help if this is the same cinema or elsewhere in the mall.
