Sun Valley Movies

Horizon Cinemas, owned by Ira Miller, opened Sun Valley Movies on December 19, 2014. With six screens and 752 seats, it’s Horizon’s fifth area theater. The Baltimore Sun noted Mr. Miller’s position as “Baltimore’s pre-eminent independent theater owner".

Sun Valley Movies, located less than a mile away from Horizon’s Marley Station, will show films at discounted prices, which have finished their first run. Mr. Miller noted that it is the only intermediate-run theater operating in Maryland and it will show family friendly movies.
