Located on Wilson Street on the west corner of McGregor Street. The Port Hedland Drive-In Theatre and Gardens opened on 15th April 1968 with Paul Newman in “A New Kind of Love” and John Agar in “Cavalry Command”(aka “The Day of the Trumpet”). The drive-in closed in the mid-1980’s.
The drive-in was dismantled in 1987 and the site sold for development. The Boulevarde Shopping Centre was built on the site in 1989. Nothing remains of the drive-in.
