South Hedland Drive-In

Located just off the North Circular Road. The South Hedland Drive-In opened in 1976 or 1977. The Drive-in closed on 4th May 1983 with “Rocky 2” and “Rocky 3” in 1986. The site is overgrown and the screen in gone. The projection booth and concession building remain, but are derelict.

What is now Arabella St was the entrance road. The ramps and screen were still there in 1995.
