Renown Gardens Spring Park Road, Midland, WA

The Renown Gardens opened in April 1927 behind the Renown Theatre facing Spring Park Road. The Renown Gardens closed during World War II when blackout restrictions made open air screening impossible, and the disused site became more and more rundown. Then it was clened up, repainted and re-opened about 1950-1953. The Renown Gardens closed in the 1960’s. The Renown Gardens were demolished(date unknown). The site is now a car park.
