The Critcher Theatre was opened prior to 1926 when it was listed with 750 seats and was still operating in 1931 with 555-seats. The 555-seat Avalon Theatre was opened prior to 1937. By 1943 it was screening Spanish language movies. Listed in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1950 as seating 450. It was closed in June 1957.
It was demolished in fall of 1957.
