The Capitol Theatre was reopened on September 4, 1922 with Vera Gordon in “Your Best Friend”. Following a refurbishment, it reopened on August 6, 1928 with Colleen Moore in “Happiness Ahead”. It had been equipped with a Page 3 manual organ, which was opened by organists Sam Lucas & Walter Wolf. It had 844 seats. In March 1939 it was taken over by Comerford Theaters Inc.
