The Family Drive-In was opened on July 1, 1953 with Lloyd Bridges in “The Tall Texan” & the short “A Day in the Country”. It was operated by J. Waller Rodes Jr. & Frank M. Johnson. It was across the street from Circle 25 Drive-In.
