This was opened by Cobb Theatres on March 12th, 1971 with Burt Lancaster in “Airport” & Dustin Hoffman in “Midnight Cowboy”. It was taken over by Floyd Theatres in the early-1980’s. It closed down on October 1, 1987 with Steve Martin in “Roxanne” & Frankie Avalon in “Back to the Beach”.

Opened with on screen 1 with “Airport” and on screen 2 with “Midnight cowboy”.
Floyd Theatre Circuit closed the Pine Hills Twin with “Roxanne” and “Back to the Beach” on October 1, 1987 with all seats costing just 50 cents. The space ws converted to a waterbed retail shop in 1988.
