The Kerasotes Showplace Muncie 12 opened June 15, 2005. When AMC purchased Kerasotes, the theater became the AMC Showplace Muncie 12 and through attrition was the only functioning new movie theater in the city of Muncie as of the 2014.

This opened on June 15th, 2005. Grand opening ad in the photo section. In 2014 it became the only cinema in town.
This theater is currently going through renovations which will include a IMAX, powered recliners, and a Maguffins Bar
