Located in Dunmanway, County Cork. The Broadway Cinema was built by Barney Deane and opened in 1932. At the time it would be common for the Town Crier to parade through the streets announcing what film would be shown that evening. The 350-seater had a balcony, where the padded seats were, and a series of benches on the ground floor, although as time went on a more modern auditorium had been developed. It originally had a Philips sound system. The cinema eventually closed as late as 2005 and some of the seats ended up in the Beggarman Bar in Cork, which was screening films at the time. The current use of the building is unclear.
