Located in Ardee, County Louth. The Bohemia Cinema opened on 30th August 1940. The 300-seater was originally run by S. Markey, and later Thorne and Markey, but listed as Ardee Cinemas Ltd. from the mid-1950’s. It also hosted showbands and bingo sessions and may have been enlarged at some point as the capacity is given as 525 seats by 1961. It was equipped with a RCA sound system and had a 28ft wide proscenium. It closed in 1979 and became a community centre and is the home of the Ardee Concert Band.

The Bohemia appears to have been a three-tier house with 202 seats in the balcony, 180 in the stalls and 50 in the pit. The Kine Year Book lists it as the Ardee Cinema for the first few years of operation. It closed in 1979.
