Billboard, September 4, 1954: “Two open-airers were added to Eastern Pennsylvania territory with the initial lighting-up of Super Skyway Drive-In, Kuhnsville, and the 600-car River View Drive-In opened by Guy T. Brigido at Pittston.”
The Riverview Drive-In opened on September 3, 1954 with Victor Mature in “Demetrius and the Gladiators”. Aerial photos showed the long, narrow drive-in intact in 1969 but replaced by a street down the middle in a 1978 topo map and by housing in a 1981 photo.
