Owned by Wometco Theatre this theatre was located in a very small strip mall named Villa del Carmen. It was accompanied by a Walgreens, Baskin Robbins, and Pueblo Supermarket.
It opened on March 5, 1971 with Michael Caine in “Too Late the Hero”. Initially a one-screen theatre, then later was expanded and renovated which added another screen due to popular demand in the 1980’s.
The strip mall was in front of the Plaza del Carmen Mall and was a small addition which included the theatre. It showed famous movies like “Jaws”, “Carrie”, “The Exorcist”, “Robocop”, and many more.
Its demise came and it was converted into a Blockbuster Video and in 2021 it remains vacant.
