The Tallahassee Mall Cinemas opened its doors by Kent Theatres on March 23, 1972 with Robert Redford in “The Hot Rock” in Screen 1 and George C. Scott in “The Last Run” in Screen 2. It was renamed the Cinema Twin in 1984.

Last known as the Cinema Twin Theatres, Kent Theatres closed the Cinema Twin on September 19, 1996 with Euan McGregor in “Trainspotting” in Screen 1 and Alison Elliott in “The Spitfire Grill” in Screen 2.
