The Imperial Theatre opened on March 28, 1921 with Pat O'Malley in “Go and Get It”. It was later taken over by Famous Players. It closed on May 23, 1953 with John Derek in “Prince of Pirates” & Joe Michael Grosch in “A Bride Comes to Yellow Sky”. It was demolished a week later for a Metropolitan store.

The actual closing date is May 23, 1953 with “Prince Of Pirates” and “The Bride Comes To Yellow Sky”.
