The Virgin Cinemas Hamamatsu opened its doors on November 27, 2000 and was renamed the TOHO Cinemas Hamamatsu on November 15, 2003. It had nine screens and a total capacity of nine screens (eight regular and one premier) and a capacity of 1,903 seats (with 25 wheelchairs).
