The Brock Theatre was opened on March 20, 1933 with Joe E. Brown in “You Said a Mouthful” & Joan Blondell in “Three on a Match”. It was renamed Gem Theatre in November 1955 and closed on November 30, 1957 with Donald O'Connor in “The Buster Keaton Story” & Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy in “Bonnie Scotland”.
By 2007 it was operating as a cafe named Lulu. By 2012, still operating as Lulu, it was a live music venue, which remains open in 2026.
