AMC Showplace Poplar Bluff 8

This modern eight screen theatre seats more than 1,700 showing first run features. It was first operated by Kerasotes Theatres. The theatre features assistive listening devices, handicap accessible, and digital stereo in all auditoriums. They feature advance ticket purchasing and online ticketing. Like the other Kerasotes' Showplace theatres it has a spacious lobby and comfortable seating with staggered rows. It was taken over by AMC in 2014.

The Showplace occupies the site of the former Poplar Bluff Drive-In.

This is the place where I mainly go for my movies. Ive seen here since ive started going back to the movies anyway,
