The Odeon Theatre was opened in 1941. It was twinned in the 1970’s and closed as a movie theatre around 1995. It became a nightclub on the two levels named The Industry Theatre and Tequela Rocks which closed by 2015. It was demolished in July 2021 for retirement housing and assisted living homes to be built on the site.
