This town was in the news yesterday. The woman who played Thelma Lou on the Andy Griffith show (Barney’s girlfriend) was robbed. She moved to Mount Airy to get away from crime in the city.

I wouldn’t have guessed that this town had any theaters. I’ve stopped here a few times to have lunch when driving up to San Francisco.

I saw some films at the other theater in Century City but not this one. Not exactly an A-list destination for Saturday nights.
