My Grandfather was Joseph Kallet of the Kallet Theatre chain. He was the Managing Director of the Capitol Theatre and three other Kallet theatres in Rome. The Franjo Theatre was built by Fran & Joe Sternberg and opened in 1937. My Grandfather Joseph Kallet of the Kallet Theatre chain purchased it in 1950. My father Joseph Pfeiffer Sr operated the theatre until it burned on May 3, 1963. I have some pictures of it if anyone is interested.
