When was it built? When did it stop being a theater? I thought I knew all the theaters in Grays Harbor, but I am unfamiliar with this one.

It was built in 1928, but not as a theater. It was converted to the Arcade Theatre sometime later later and then the New Hoquiam. It is listed in the 1952 phonebook.

This was located where there is now a consignment shop -- to the right of the VFW, a few offices down. Check this 1947 photo out in the new Jones Historic Photo Collection: http://www.jonesphotocollection.com/Obj8726$1091
