Guelph's Capitol Theatre opened in 1930 and closed in 1975.

There was also a Odeon Theatre that was still oiperating in 1982, does anyone have any info on the Odeon?

According to the Rivest list it opened in 1949, was later twinned, and closed in 1990 - probably soon after when Cineplex Odeon opened a five-screener in the Stone Road Mall in 1989. That multiplex is now also closed.
