Super Saver Cinemas 8 was located in the Indian Hill Mall (also known as the Village at Indian Hill and Plaza Azteca) in Pomona. It opened on May 24, 1989 and was operated by Movie One chain out of Texas. It screen second-run movies at $1.50. In 1995 it was taken over by Silver Cinemas chain. Near the end it was showing first run movies for $5.00.

This is now part of a school that bought all but the Indoor Swap Meet at the old mall.

Opened May 24, 1989 by Movie One of Texas as a sub-run discount house with “Karate Kid,” “K-9,” “Roger Rabbit,” “Rainmain,” “License to Kill,” “Weekend at Bernies,” and “UHF.“ It then became part of the Silver Cinemas Circuit in 1995 when it acquired Movie One.
