The Sheffield Theatre in the Brownsville-East New York section of Brooklyn was already listed as a closed theatre in the 1932 Film Daily Year Book and may never have re-opened.

By 1975, it had been converted into a church and by 2006 it was in use as a warehouse.

A warehouse of some kind is currently located at 308 Sheffield Ave. The NYC Building Dept shows a New Building permit issued and cancelled in 1915. No c of o information is available.

This property is listed as a warehouse with a build date of 1916. The current building should be the former theater building so the status should be Closed.
