Timonium Drive-In

The Timonium Drive-In located on Timonium Road and I-83 was one of the largest single screen drive-ins ever built. This drive-in opened in 1955 with a capacity for 2,479 cars. The Timonium Drive-In closed around 1980 and has been demolished.

I use to pass it on my way to work at “Shakey’s” Pizza. Another memory gone.

Yes, it was a massive drive-in — the back row was a full ¼-mile away from the screen.
