The sign for the “Bijou” Theater (far left) appears to be on the same site at the Gaiety and the Luna. I have found a reference to the manager of the Gaiety being fined $5 for handing out handbills illegally in 1916. I suspect the Bijou preceeded the Gaiety. The Lafayette Hotel is clearly visible across the street.
