The Ritz was located on the corner of Avenue A and 17th Street about five blocks south of Broadway Street. It opened in 1945 from all that I can find on the theatre and closed in 1955. It was a single screen theatre operated by Lubbock Threatres, Inc.

The Ritz Theatre was listed as seating around 250 people.
