Built and owned by the Newark industrial tycoon, Lou Aronson, who also owned the Ronson Lighter Company in Newark. Briefly showed movies midweek and vaudeville on weekends. Run by Eddie Steinberg in 1939 and closed later that year.

Was this the same as the Strand Theatre? The Strand (404 S Orange Ave) is on the corner of S Orange and 12th.

My above comment is correct. The theatre at Orange & 12th is the Strand. The Ronson was at S Orange Ave & Littleton Ave.
