Located in the district of South Lorain, the Pearl Theatre appears to have been enlarged over the years as in the 1941 Film Daily Yearbook a seating capacity of 260 is given.

In the 1943 edition it has 347 seats and by the 1950 edition, the seating capacity is as given in the headers above.

The Pearl was still open in 1963, according to the motion picture almanac of that year. The operator was Zegiob Theaters of Lorain. Other Zegiob theaters at the time were the Dreamland in Lorain and the Liberty in Vermilion.

This was also known as the Pearl Avenue Theater. According to a February 2003 article in the Elyria Chronicle Telegram, the theater opened as a silent in 1915. It closed in 1967 and was later used by AMVETS and also as a restaurant. It was demolished in February 2003.
