I went to Saturday matinees at this theater in the 1940s. We would see two features, a comedy, a serial, and a newsreel for $.09 (because if they had charged $.10 they would have had to charge a tax). Popcorn, candy, and the bus were each $.05. We each got $.25 and would have to decide whether to have candy and popcorn or take the bus. Many times it was a long walk home in the rain.

The University of Washington library gives three names for this theater. Bruen’s Arabian Theater (1930), Lukan’s Arabian Theater (1932) and Arabian Theater.
