The theater was built as the Brown Theatre in 1924. The owner was Lon Brown.
The theater closed in 1999.
The building still stands, and it currently houses an antique store.

A Kimball theater organ KPO 6784 size 2/4 was installed in Brown’s Theater in 1924 at a cost of $6,900.
The year given for this photo is 1980.
