Soldier Creek Drive-In

Located in the Midwest City district of Oklahoma City. The Bomber Drive-In opened on May 23, 1952 with Patricia Medina in “Aladdin and His Lamp”. It was enlarged and rebuilt in the early-1960’s and renamed the Soldier Creek Drive-In. The theatre had a 600 car capacity with a single screen. It closed in 1964 and there are no signs the drive in existed today.

Drive-in 54,

Just wanted to let you know, your picture is actually of the “BOMBER” drive in. Same location, but the Barton Family rebuilt it with a different orientation and larger capacity in the early 60’s, renaming it the Soldier creek Drive-in.
