Sunset Drive-In

The Sunset Drive-In was owned and operated by Louellen Overstreet and opened in 1959. It was a single screen and had a 250 car capacity. It closed in 1976 and was demolished and is now the residence of the former owner.

This theater is not demolished. In fact, the screen and concession stand/projection booth are still standing. It is, however, located behind someone’s (perhaps the former owner’s) house.

The Sunset Drive-In is listed in 1975 with a capacity for 160 cars.
