The Trocadero Theatre was located on Adams Street near Hampson Street. It was opened in 1914. It was renamed Mecca Theatre in 1917. It could seat 800 according to the 1945 Film Daily Yearbook. It was closed on September 11, 1955 with Rock Hudson in “Captain Lightfoot”. It has since been torn down.

The Mecca opened as the Trocadero in 1914. In late 1917 it bacame the Mecca. Sept. 11, 1955 appears to be it’s last showing, “Captain Lightfoot” starring Rock Hudson. At it’s closing it was owned by United Theaters.
