Mr. Babbitt owns the Strand Theatre in Kendallville, IN. Also, the Silver Screen is considered “Sold Out” at the 320 mark.

Can anyone refer me to a Drive-In Theatre Society. Preferably
the New England area? Thanks You

This is a small town theatre. I have fond memories of it. It was once called the Gala Theatre. I do not know if that was the original name though. I hope to take my kids there to see an old time movie theatre next time I visit my hometown.

Best wishes

As far as I know, this is the only indoor theater in this town. The owner of this theater, Bruce Babbitt also owns the Auburn-Garrett Drive-In Theater and the Strand Theater in Angola. Babbitt, a former projectionist, bought the theater in 1974, when it was 35 years old, and has gradually restored and upgraded it. It is very possible that this theater opened under another name. If anyone knows for sure, please post it here.
