Another shot of the former Broadway Theatre snapped in 1953. Rialto can be further up the street.

After much research no trace of an “art theatre” ever being at this location has not been found.
This c1940 photo documents that Pride’s Cafeteria had moved into the old Broadway Theatre, utilizing the tall upright sign.

If the Broadway Theatre closed in 1927, where does the “aka Art Theatre” come from? Was it originally known as the Art Theatre?
