The Royal Theatre operated from 1948 to 1957. It then became the Royal Ballroom.

From the mid 1950s through the early 1970s this theater operated as the ROYAL BALLROOM.

In 1955 the Royal Theater had 600 seats.

1984 photo of the Royal Theatre. As you can see from the photo it is now Danceland.

Oklahoma City Architectural Firm of Sorey, Hill, Sorey designed the Royal Theatre.
