Located just off 287 in Middlesex County in South Plainfield, this movie theatre has been entertaining patrons for many years. Very big place and plenty of showings makes this megaplex a favorite for UCP respites from Morris/Somerset. The only thing I don’t like about this theatre is that they show the feature the same time as it is printed in the newspapers.

Opened as Magic Cinemas. Opened with 11 or 12 theatres and expanded later to 16.
Justin: Can you clarify your last sentence? I personally like when movies start at the time advertised!
I like when the previews begin, not the movie so I can’t be late for the show to begin!
Yeah, I first started going here when it was a 12-plex. Shortly afterwards, it expanded to 16, and existing theatres were converted to stadium seating (some of which became rather cramped as a result).
Most recently one of its screens uses Open Captioning and Descriptive Audio, and its ticketing service is Fandango. This theater shares the same 20-minute preshow with the AMC in Rockaway, aka the First Look.
Hope this theater will be one of the first to get 4k projection!!!!
Recently has 3D projection.
