The Rogue Theatre first opened in 1938, on H Street, an elegant Art Moderne style movie house which sat 700. In the late 90s, after narrowly escaping demolition, the Rogue was restored and reopened as a perfoming arts center.

I didn’t leave anything out. Thats all the information there was for this theater.
This is a really special place for my wife and I, it was the first place we went on a date :) I was really sad when it closed, though I was just glad to not see it torn down to get replaced by a parking lot. though it isn’t a first run movie house anymore, it hasn’t changed a bit (though it has gotten a facelift outside) I go in there and the magic is there. unlike others that have been chopped up into multiplexes.
btw. they still show movies there (classics like the Star Wars trilogy and Easy Rider) about every month or about every other month
