When I was living in Bay City I performed on the stage of the Washington. Also, I took photographs of the Washington Follies learning to be a photographer. If I can figure out how to do it I will post the pictures.

I don’t think that’s the same building as seen in the 9/25/08 link. Maybe some error in the captioning.

These messages were somehow saved to another area. I’m pasting them in here.

“This theater closed around 1963 and the building was demolished in 1965 to make way for a parking lot.” Another parking lot is certainly what this country needs!

This is a 1930 ad for the Washington Theater.

A Marr & Colton organ was installed in the Washington Theatre in 1924. It was later moved to the Bay Theatre in Bay City, MI.
