Marcy Drive-In

Located in Marcy, near Utica, NY. The Kallet Drive-In opened in June 1947. One famous attraction was a 14-foot statue at its front entrance with a waterfall that cascaded into a pool at its feet. Still known as the Kellet Drive-In in 1955, it was operated by Kallet Theatres. Later renamed Marcy Drive-In, according to a Utica newspaper article, the Marcy Drive-In closed in April of 1993. It was demolished to make room for the planned Utica-Rome Expressway.
