Jim (l) and Mike Krekling of Krekling Painting help refinish the exterior of the historic Granada Theatre on Thursday October 28, 2010. The Granada was sold to Dave Namowicz in 2005. He hopes to reopen it as a banquet hall, but says he has to find nearby parking for 65-75 cars before he can get an occupancy permit. The refinishing work, being done with Rossi Construction as the general contractor, includes adding storm windows and tuckpointing. Five previously-covered decorative glass windows were discovered above the entrance, and are now visible. Two of the five had been damaged, and were replicated.
