I came across a website with a photo of a building that appears to be a former theater. The website claims that the building is a former movie theater called the Leonard Theater and it is located on Cottonwood Road in Cottonwood, Alabama. Click the link below for the website hosting the photos. Any additional information on this former theater would be appreciated.

A comment on the above site from November 2004 states that the building has been demolished.
I read that comment when I added this theater. Unless I find another source, I don’t take the information as fact. Thats why I didn’t list this theater as demolished. It might be demolished, but I don’t know that for sure.
That’s true. I wasn’t sure if that comment had been posted when you added the theater.
I’m not positive but I think this theater was added around September of 2005. The comment that claims it was demolished was posted on 11/29/2004. Then, on 8/31/2007 someone posted “Its an amazing building .. i forget if it still remains up but i hope it is”. I guess that he didn’t believe the first comment either.
