From the looks of the theatre photos the Cozy started out in the Masonic Building and then a newer theatre built next door.
Here’s another shot

Ken, look at the left edge of the the photo that you posted and look at the building that LM posted, they look like the same building as the Masonic Lodge, but the Coxzy theatre looks like it is next door to the Masonic Lodge in the photo that you posted. Could they have built a new Cozy Theatre.
At any rate in 1925 the Cozy was operated by Modern Theatres and later by Midwest Theatres.
Compare the photo above with this one-they are supposed to be the same building. Some major remodeling maybe?

The building was demolished in 1998 according to the text with this photo.
Demolished 1965.
No link is too small. Some are just too damn long!
I am indeed. Low rates.
Are you the link repairman?
The link has changed for LM’s photo above:

A Louisville theater organ opus 508 was installed in the Cozy Theater in 1926.
In the early to mid 1950s my parents drove my sister and me to the Cozy Theater almost every Saturday. As button-wearing members of the Roy Rogers Riders Club, we could see a Roy Rogers double feature and two great cartoons for 25 cents. On Saturdays, every one of the 480 seats were full from opening to closing.
