The Dream Theater opened in January of 1914. It was owned by E. G. Abbott. In 1950 the theater was remodeled and upgraded, including a new marquee. Around 1964 the Dream Theater was purchased by the National Bank of Commerce. The theater building was demolished and replaced with a bank. A Kimball theater organ size 2/5 was installed in the Dream Theater in 1925.
