The Montreal Theatre was opened on 9th May 1930.

Its name is a variant of the family name of the founders' name, which was Learmont.

I have attended movies, community rallies and school presentations in this theatre.

It is listed on the National Trust of Australia (NSW) register.

One function for this theater would be movies. This website has a movie schedule for the Montreal Community Theatre.
