The earlist record I have on the Cine is from 1986. The theatre at that time was a quad and with two additional screens added on later.

This theater is still open with all 6 screens, and is the last remaining theater in Martin. It is located near the Univwersity of Tennessee at Martin.

I will confirm that the Cine is still alive and well. I have a question regarding the old drive in theater on the union city/martin highway. I believe it used to be called Sunset Drive-In. Does anyone know if this property is for sale or who owns it? If you do would you email me at I think it would be great to open the drive-in.
